Need a recommendation for a quaint, cozy coffee shop here in Richmond? 😏🙋♀️ Well lucky for you, I’m featuring Sefton Coffee Co. for today’s Small Business Sunday Shoutout! ☕️ Located in Richmond’s downtown business district near the Capitol, Sefton Coffee Co. is the most adorable coffee roastery I’ve found in the city…and it’s even better that they are just steps away from my apartment building! 🙌 All of their coffee is freshly roasted and the syrups are all home-produced which I love.
Sefton also offers locally made pastries with gluten free options, freshly prepared sandwiches, wine by the bottle, flowers, and creative coffee drinks such as their affogato, banana coffee smoothie, and espresso milkshake. 🍌🍨😋 My go-to this fall has been their chai tea latte and I’ve also tried their DELISH ham and cheese croissant. 🥐
Not only does Sefton sell their own coffee beans and refillable coffee growlers, but they also support other local businesses such as @madkitchen_co’s Coffee Shops of Richmond watercolor art prints and tea towels, @nightingaleicecream’s sammies, @hummingbirdflowerco’s fresh bouquets, and many more which you can explore all around the shop. The interior of Sefton Coffee Co is so homey and cozy and I love their multiple outdoor tables which makes it perfect for people-watching (and watching cars drive the wrong way lol). 🤣 They even have a bookcase to browse while you sip and eat. 📚
With friendly staff and delicious drinks, this local shop gets a big 👏👏 They are open Monday through Friday, so be forewarned - no weekends! Enjoy!!!! 🤎
