Eating hot pot for the first time in NYC was one of the BEST meals of my life, so I was ecstatic to try it locally for the first time at Qpot Hot Pot & BBQ (@qpot.hotpot.bbq)! 🤩🥘🥩🍤 If you’ve ever enjoyed hot pot before, you know it can be one of the most MEMORABLE dining experiences of your life. Qpot, which recently opened on July 20th near Short Pump, offers a unique all-you-can-eat experience featuring hot pot, Korean BBQ, and a Chinese buffet. For $33.99 per adult and $15.99 per child, you can pick your own meats, seafoods, noodles, and vegetables from the buffet to cook at your table. It’s not just a meal, it’s an ✨experience✨ so plan to spend 1.5-2 hours savoring it. 😋
Qpot operates in a buffet style, allowing you to walk up and choose your own meats and vegetables, rather than ordering from a menu. It was nice to have the freedom to choose your own ingredients, however, some of the labels didn’t quite match up with their meat items. If you have dietary restrictions, it’s a good idea to double check with the staff before you start cooking! Typically, I’m used to sharing one hot pot for the table, so Qpot’s personal hot pots were a nice surprise, making it convenient for cooking only what I wanted. 🫕 This was also my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it didn't disappoint!
The restaurant itself was HUGE with a vibrant, modern vibe, perfect for a night out with friends or family. 🏮 I loved the variety of food and sauces available; there’s also a nostalgic touch with mini ice cream cups and wooden spoons for dessert—such a throwback! 🍨 By the end of my meal, I was SO full that I was about ready to fall into a food coma! 🤤
QPot also offers a $100/year Loyalty Club with great perks like 50% off all in-store alcohol and liquor and BOGO milk teas with unlimited refills, plus takeout, birthday, and referral perks. Eat there 3 times a year, and the loyalty club pays for itself! 🤑
