Ms. Bees Juice Bar Comes To MCV

Drumroll please....for the GRAND OPENING of Ms. Bees Juice Bar & Cafe’s second location in downtown Richmond! 🥳🐝🌻 As soon as I heard about the opening, I immediately knew I had to check it out because it’s only 2 blocks away from MCV! 🤯 It’s pretty hidden, but I just followed the signs on the sidewalk and ended up in a garden that led to a tent and the entrance!

First off, I just have to say how BEAUTIFUL the entire cafe is from the vibrant wall mural by Jason Ford (@jfordtheartist) to the bright coral counters to the courtyard patio with a fountain and plenty of outdoor seating. For all you VCU health professionals/students, you NEED to check them out! I can totally picture myself coming here on a nice sunny day to study while being surrounded by peace and nature. 🌳✌️⛲️

The staff were all so kind and welcoming and started friendly conversation with me when they saw my VCU Health ID badge. Before I left, I got to meet the famous Ms. Bee and it was such an honor! I can tell just from one visit that Ms. Bee’s Juice Bar is more than just a cafe, but a close-knit family, and I love that about them. 🥰 Now, onto the food....I ordered the Avocado Toast and the 12oz Strawbaby smoothie with almond milk which were both delicious! The toast had a nice kick of spice to it and the smoothie was the perfect pair. They also have 4 other smoothie base options in case you don’t prefer almond milk.🥛

I’m so excited to come back on my lunch breaks and try some of their bottled juices as well! Today may have been my first visit, but it will certainly NOT be my last!! 🤗
