Lunchin' At Lillie Pearl

If my chicken sandwich doesn’t look like THIS, then I don’t want it! 🤩 Just HAD to go back to Lillie Pearl and try out their lunch menu yesterday! This time, I ordered the Smashville Fried Chicken Sandwich which satisfied all my taste buds 👅🤤 It was like a fancy version of a Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich (but WAY better): spicy but not overwhelmingly spicy, dripping in spicy buttermilk ranch sauce, and fried to perfection which gave it a crunchy coating. 😍 My friend got the regular Fried Chicken Sandwich which she also loved! Lillie Pearl aced their cooking strategy because the chicken itself was some of the highest quality chicken I’ve ever had and the meat easily fell apart with no chewy bites.

EVEN SO, I think my favorite part of the meal was actually the Fried Pimento Cheese appetizer which was heavenly! 😅🧀 Check out all the cheesy goodness inside of the fried cheese balls ➡️😛 They had some peppers in them but were drizzled in a spicy honey sauce that gave the perfect amount of sweet and spicy.

They had a s’mores cheesecake for dessert that sounded amazing but I was too full from my meal to try it...so basically, don’t make the same mistake as me! 😂 Now that I’ve tried both their lunch and dinner menus, I can officially say Lillie Pearl definitely deserves all the hype! 👏 They are probably one of my top ten restaurants in Richmond and I still need to go back to try their salads! 🤯 If you still haven’t gone here yet, you’re totally missing out!
