Holy Crepe!!

I finally made it to Les Crepes in Carytown for my first crepe experience and it didn't cease to AMAZE me! 🤩 Les Crepes has both sweet and savory crepes (thin pancakes), and of course, I had to try one of each.

I started with the Spinach Crepe which was the perfect amount of creamy ricotta cheese and fresh spinach. Tasted pretty similar to spanakopita which I love. 😍

Finished off my meal with the Cinnabana Crepe which is served hot with caramelized apples, banana, mozzarella cheese, cinnamon, ice cream, and caramel & vanilla sauce. 🍮🍌 If you like apple pie, I promise you will LOVE the Cinnabana! I wasn’t sure how I would feel about cheese being on a dessert, but it was oddly delicious and the ice cream on top was sooo good it tasted like homemade French Vanilla Ice Cream. 😋🍨 Also pictured is the Strawbella Crepe. 🍓

The service was pretty good considering they were understaffed when I went in April and are supposed to be back to fully staffed now. I did have to take a star off of my rating because the glasses they used to serve water were dirty and had obvious mouth/lipstick marks on the rim, so I suggest bringing your own water bottle if you decide to go! Other than that, my experience was great and the outdoor patio might be the best I’ve been to in Richmond...and they have live music! 👏🎶

Next time, I definitely want to try the Lasagna Crepe, Curry Lamb Crepe, Seafood Crepe, and Oreo Cookie Crepe because I’ve also heard good things about those. 🤤 If you’ve already been, what other sweet or savory menu items should I add to my list? 🤔
