Bringing The Sweetness Of NOLA To RVA

Had to make a pit stop at Café Beignet RVA today and finally see for myself what all the commotion was about! 😍 I just barely made it in time to get their last batch of beignets of the day before selling out, but I’m so glad I did (SO sorry to the gentleman that was behind me 😬😅). Pictured is the Strawberry Cheesecake specialty beignets which are made from scratch and drizzled in icing and a crumb topping. 🍰🍓 If you like strawberry shortcake, you will definitely love this! Biting into the fried dough was automatic nostalgia to when I visited Café Du Monde in New Orleans as a kid. #iykyk

Café Beignet RVA is definitely a business to support not only because of the delicious sweet treats and lattes, but also because it is black-owned and woman-owned. The food truck is run by Brittany Williams who always dreamed of owning her own bakery after completing culinary school and made it happen. She has given this NOLA delicacy a new home in RVA and I am here for it 🤩🙌 The truck has been so successful since opening in January that their lines go down the block and they sell out early every time! 🤯

I cannot wait to come back again soon to try some traditional powdered sugar beignets with a scoop of ice cream.🍦😋 The pop-up I went to was at 4517 W Hundred Rd, Chester VA, 23831 but they travel to different regions of central Virginia each week. Follow their social media to find new flavors and see where Café Beignet will be popping up next! 💓

📍: Pop-ups at different spots each week, follow social media to find out where!

💲: 7.50 for small specialty (3 ct), other sizes vary from $5.50-$10.50
