Best Frozen Custard in Richmond

If you’ve never had frozen custard before...you’re seriously missing out! 🍦🤤 Jiji Frozen Custard food truck has the best in Richmond, so much so that I went there twice this past week. 😅

The first time I went I tried their All The Jingle Ladies Pundae which came with holiday spiced apples, streusel crunch, gingerbread cookie chunks, and eggnog glaze a la mode. 🍨🍎🥛 It comes layered in a cup so each bite is a different flavor as you eat, starting with the gingerbread and finishing with the apples.

When I went yesterday, I got the Ole Kris Krinkle Pundae which was made with chocolate krinkle cookies, sugar cookie m&ms, frosted reindeer cookies, chocolate chip cookie sauce, and Oreo cobbler a la mode. 🍪🍫🍦 This dessert was 💯 from top to bottom and if you like cookies or chocolate, this will be literal heaven!

The best part is that frozen custard is healthier than ice cream so it doesn’t make me feel as guilty about eating it. 😅 If you don’t know already, their “pundaes” are a play on words and combine a pun with a sundae (All The Single Ladies 💃🏽 and Ole Kris Kringle 🎅🏼). The Jiji truck is only offering their frozen custard for one more weekend before they close for the season, so clear your calendars! They haven’t posted their hours yet for this upcoming weekend but you can expect to find it on their Instagram @jijifrozencustard soon. I’ve heard they will also have new flavors available! 😍 Their truck has public pop-ups all over RVA and the first time I went, they were at Hardywood West Creek and the second time, they were in Lakeside, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for where they’re set up at.
